MORE MUDDY MISSIONS FOR
MUD MEN
Armed with no more than a trowel and a bucket (and a permit from the Port of London Authority!) and a Campervantastic Campervan, Britain’s most famous Mudlarkers, Johnny Vaughan and Steve Brooker, return to HISTORY™ for more muddy historical adventures, scouring the foreshores and digging deeper in search of hidden history to unlock the past and change our understanding of history forever.
Armed with metal detectors, trowels and shovels, the pair digs along the banks of the Thames uncovering a whole manner of artefacts; from jewelled daggers to slave manacles, medieval tiles to cursed Bellarmine pots. This leads them on a quest through the streets of the capital and to the Museum of London to unlock the secrets of our remarkable past.

Mud Men, Series 2 on HISTORY™ from 26th January 2012.
